Online Session

Online sessions are pre-recorded sessions of our courses will be accessible to you 24x7 during the registered time period.

Live Session

Live sessions are face-to-face interactive class sessions conducted as per the courses you got admitted. It will enable you to communicate with your Mentors during the entire period of your course.

Classroom Based

Classroom sessions provide entire courses at our premises “on site” where you would experience the important “human touch,” which is often missing in technology-based training.

Postal Education

Postal learning will be through correspondence mode for students who are not physically “on site” to receive their education. The course is dovetailed with e-books access or physical materials along with the course design.

No. Candidates, whose academic qualifications are complete, should apply for RRB post

Yes, women are encouraged to apply for railways. But some job profiles are strenuous and can’t be suitable for women.

You will be considered for the vacancies of the post of the particular RRB you have applied.

No. Regional language will never be a problem for any candidates.

Candidates must pass the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) which is mandatory for some jobs in Railways. Eligible candidates who are selected based on the performance in the Written Examination will be called for Physical Efficiency Test (PET). A separate letter mentioning the date, time and venue will be communicated to the eligible candidates. Based on the gender, separate tests will be organised. Male Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 1000 metres in 4 minutes and 15 seconds in one chance. Female Candidates should be able to run for a distance of 400 metres in 3 minutes and 10 seconds in one chance.

Once the application is submitted, Primary Registration and the Registration Number are generated. These details cannot be modified immediately. So, one has to complete the full registration and finally choose the "Modify Application" option from the main page of the website and make changes in any of the details (except for email-id) or apply to another RRB altogether. However, if you have not activated the email link and the Registration Number has ‘NOT BEEN GENERATED’, you can enter your Primary Registration again with the correct details.

During the second stage of the Online Registration, candidates can choose up to five cities for the exam. RRB management will make efforts to allot your exam centre in one of these five options. However, in case of any exigency, RRB reserves the right to allot the exam centre in any other city also.

Yes. Candidates with 12 years of schooling through an examination conducted by a Board/University or students passed an entrance test conducted by the university. Besides, candidates who are under 18 years of age as on 1st July of the year of admission to the course are not eligible.

The main purpose of psychometric tests are assessments conducted to evaluate the overall candidate performance which includes personality traits, knowledge, skills, attitudes, abilities, and potential for the job being applied to.

Aptitude Tests, Behavioral Tests and Assessment Centre Exercises are the most important Psychometric tests Aptitude tests help in measuring cognitive abilities such as numeracy, literacy skills, spatial awareness. Behavioral Tests measures suitability for particular job roles carried out by using tests for leadership, situational judgment tests, personality questionnaires and motivation tests. Assessment centre exercises in measuring job specific skills using simulation through various exercises in the professional environment.

SSC/Matric certificate in proof of the candidate's date of birth, Provisional/Final degree, Diploma, ITI/Apprenticeship certificates, Certificates issued by Intermediate boards, state boards or CBSE. Community certificates in the format laid down in the case of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC communities. Discharge certificate in case of ex-servicemen.

Not required. It is sufficient if the candidate produces the originals of the certificates, copies of which would have been enclosed with the application.

No. The Railway Recruitment Board retains only attested copies of the certificates. The candidates should never leave their original certificates (including community certificates) with the Railway Recruitment Board. In exceptional cases where malpractices or forgeries are suspected, the original certificates can be collected for verification purpose. In such cases, proper acknowledgements should be demanded and obtained.
