Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: 12/05/2026

Hello, and thanks for choosing Ganesh IAS as your partner in this preparation journey. The agreement that follows lays down the working understanding between you and us — covering everything you do on our website [https://www.ganeshias.com/], inside our mobile application, and across the range of offerings that carry the Ganesh IAS name: study material, classroom sessions, online lectures, mentoring, test series, and the rest. The instant you open the website, sign up for a programme, or in any other way begin tapping into what we offer, it is understood that you’ve gone through this agreement, made sense of it, and accepted it as binding. Should any clause not sit right with you, we’d ask you to step away from our Services rather than continue.

1. A Few Words Defined

So there’s no ambiguity later, this is what certain terms in this document point to:

  • “Platform” — the website at [https://www.ganeshias.com/], the Ganesh IAS mobile application, and every other digital space we run.
  • “User,” “you,” or “your” — anyone who visits the Platform, opens any Service, or gets in touch with us through it.
  • “We,” “us,” or “our” — Ganesh IAS, alongside the people behind it: directors, faculty, mentors, employees, and authorised partners.
  • “Content” — every piece of material the Platform carries: study notes, videos, lectures, schedules, test papers, articles, current affairs write-ups, images, audio files, and graphics.

2. Who Is Eligible to Use This

Walking onto the Platform is your way of confirming that you’ve turned 18. If you’re below that age, your use must be carried out under the watch and consent of a parent or legal guardian. It is also taken that whatever you’ve furnished during registration or while sending an enquiry is truthful, current, and as complete as you’re aware.

3. Your Account

Several features and courses on the Platform call for you to open an account or formally take admission. Once you do, a few expectations come into play:

  • Personal, academic, and contact details you put in should be accurate
  • Your login should stay with you alone — sharing it isn’t on the table
  • Anything that happens through your account is on you
  • If a sign of unauthorised access or a security lapse shows up, flag it to us at the earliest

Accounts found with fabricated details, ones that get misused, or ones that work against this agreement may be paused or closed at our end.

4. About Courses, Fees, and Enrolment

The course itself

Every element of a Ganesh IAS course — its structure, syllabus, faculty allocation, schedule, duration, study material, and the way it’s delivered — may be reworked from time to time. These adjustments are made to keep pace with new exam patterns, regulatory shifts, or simply to make the academics sharper. What stands as the final word is whatever the Platform shows or the admissions team communicates at the point of joining.

Fees

Course fees are payable in advance — either in one go or through the instalment route published for that course. Unless we’ve said otherwise, taxes are over and above the quoted fee. The right to reset fees for any upcoming batch sits with us, and may be exercised without sending out a heads-up.

Payment routes

Payments can move through any of the approved online gateways, NEFT, RTGS, UPI, or any other channel we communicate. A payment is treated as wrapped up only after the money lands in our designated bank account and our internal records confirm it.

5. On Refunds and Cancellations

Amounts paid towards admission, study material, test series, mentoring sessions, online subscriptions, mock interviews, or any other Service from Ganesh IAS will, as a default, neither be returned nor moved to another candidate. Wherever a carve-out is allowed, it will play out under the specific refund terms tied to that course at the time of enrolment. To raise anything in this regard, please send a written note to our admissions office.

6. Things You’re Not Permitted to Do

The Platform is meant for lawful use, and your use of it shouldn’t get in the way of how anyone else accesses it. To be plain about it, the following stay out of bounds:

  • Copying, recording, screen-capturing, downloading, reselling, redistributing, or passing on any classroom session, online lecture, test paper, or study resource — unless we’ve given the green light in writing
  • Posting or transmitting material that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or otherwise on the wrong side of the law
  • Attempts to slip into any portion of the Platform, our servers, or any connected database without permission
  • Letting bots, scrapers, or any automated piece of software loose on the Platform to harvest data
  • Showing up as somebody else — a fellow user, a faculty member, or an official representative of Ganesh IAS
  • Activity that could harm, slow down, overload, or otherwise disturb the Platform’s working

Where a breach is detected, access may be revoked on the spot, admission may be cancelled with no money returned, and the matter may be carried forward through suitable legal channels.

7. Ownership of the Material

Every piece of Content sitting on the Platform — the Ganesh IAS name and logo, course titles, study notes, video lectures, the test series, mock interview resources, current affairs analyses, infographics, layout choices, and similar elements — falls under the ownership of Ganesh IAS or those who have licensed it to us. The protection extended to this material comes from the country’s copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property statutes.

What you are extended is a narrow permission — not transferable, not exclusive — to use this Content purely towards your own examination preparation. Putting any of it to use through reproduction, modification, translation, sale, lease, or commercial application is shut off unless Ganesh IAS has signed off on it in writing.

8. For Those in Online and Hybrid Programmes

If your enrolment is on the online or hybrid side, the following ground rules apply:

  • Live classes, recorded lectures, and tests are tied to your personal login and shouldn’t be circulated
  • Recording a session while it runs, snapping screenshots, or putting study resources out across social, public, or commercial channels is strictly off the table
  • Should any of this surface, your access can be deactivated and no refund will follow
  • Hiccups at your end — patchy internet, a power cut, a glitch in your device — won’t count as a valid reason for getting fees back

9. Reaching Out to You

Once your contact details have been shared on the Platform or with someone from our team, you’ve handed Ganesh IAS the permission to reach out over phone calls, SMS, email, or WhatsApp — for admissions, study material, exam-related updates, scholarships, events, and offers. This permission carries weight even where the number sits on a DND or NDNC register. To pull yourself out of promotional messages, a written note to enquiry@ganeshias.com is all it takes.

10. Pointing You to Other Sites

For convenience, the Platform may sometimes lead you to outside websites, social media pages, mock test partners, or payment portals. What plays out on those external pages — their content, their policies, the way they conduct themselves — is none of our doing and lies outside our responsibility. Stepping onto any such site is on your own initiative, and you’ll be working under that party’s terms.

11. What We Don’t Guarantee

Plenty of effort goes into keeping the content accurate, current, and high in quality. Even so, the Platform and the Services are made available to you on an as-it-is and as-it-happens-to-be basis. No commitment is made by us:

  • That the Content will always be free of mistakes, gaps, or breaks
  • That the Platform will be running every minute, without technical hiccups or scheduled maintenance breaks
  • That any specific exam result, rank, or selection will go to any individual aspirant

Cracking a competitive exam comes down to a candidate’s own effort, steadiness, and discipline. Ganesh IAS extends guidance, mentorship, and material — but selection is not something anyone can promise.

12. The Cap on Our Liability

As far as the law will allow, Ganesh IAS — together with its directors, employees, faculty, mentors, and partners — cannot be held answerable for any indirect, incidental, special, follow-on, or punitive damages. This carries through to loss of opportunity, lost exam attempts, lost data, or lost revenue — whether they show up because you used the Platform or because you could not. Whatever the nature of the claim, our financial liability towards you will never travel beyond the fee actually paid for the specific Service that triggered the dispute.

13. Taking Responsibility for Your Actions

If a claim, damage, loss, cost, or legal expense lands on us because (a) you’ve stepped outside this agreement, (b) you’ve misused the Platform or any of its Content, or (c) you’ve broken a law in force or run over the rights of another party — you agree to absorb that on our behalf and keep Ganesh IAS and the people connected with it shielded from any consequences.

14. When Access May Be Paused or Closed

The right to put on hold, restrict, or shut down your access to the Platform or any Service rests with us, to be exercised at our discretion and without any heads-up, if:

  • A part of this agreement is breached by you
  • Our Content is pirated, redistributed, or otherwise abused at your hands
  • Your behaviour turns out to be disruptive, abusive, or hurtful towards fellow students or faculty
  • A law enforcement body or regulator instructs us to take that step

In any such case, no claim for refund will hold.

15. When These Terms Get Refreshed

Ganesh IAS carries the right to revise, modify, or rewrite any portion of this agreement whenever needed. Such updates kick in the moment they appear on the Platform along with a fresh “Last Updated” date. Once they’re up, your continued use of the Platform is read as agreement with the updated terms.

16. Which Laws Apply, and Where

These Terms are read and interpreted under the laws of India. Any dispute, claim, or matter that springs from these Terms or from your use of the Platform shall be heard only by the competent courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

17. If One Clause Doesn’t Hold

If any single clause in this agreement is held by a competent court to be invalid, against the law, or otherwise impossible to enforce, only that clause shall be trimmed back to the smallest extent needed. The rest of the agreement will keep operating in full force.

18. Get in Touch

If any line in this agreement needs explaining, or if you’d like to raise a complaint or grievance around any of our Services, drop us a line:
